More About Me:

I'm a recent graduate of the University of Michigan where I earned my B.A. in Art History with concentrations in Political Science and Criminal Justice.  I consider art to be a lens through which to understand the effect of legislation and policy on the community and individual, and I use my knowledge of art to better contextualize my studies of politics and criminal justice. As you explore my website, you'll see that writing is as diverse as my interests –– but importantly, I approach each task with the same interdisciplinary mindset  that fueled my academic studies.

I consider myself a storyteller first and foremost –– whether that's by hunting for the next big headline, building an exciting new narrative through art exhibition, or helping those impacted by the criminal justice system to tell their own stories.

Born and raised in New York City and with family in West Virginia, I'm a "city-girl" who spends her days dreaming of blue-ridge mountains. In my free time, I enjoy cooking my family's traditional Lebanese recipes, swing dancing, and listening to my record player.
